Back from Bangkok

Just got back from Thailand!

I sampled some authentic Thai cuisine, shopped in some of the malls in Bangkok, spotted chic ladies around the city, rode an elephant and an ox cart, saw wild monkeys, visited some of the provinces in the outskirts of Bangkok, attended a monk ordination ceremony, and more! I'll be telling you all about my trip in the next few entries.

I'm also glad to report that my trusty Grendha ankle-strap jelly flats have survived once again. They don't look anything close to worn out even after frequent use for casual days and other travels. This pair is the perfect travel companion!

My proudly Filipino Vedasto leather sling bag, on the other hand, was a hit even in Thailand. Got several people asking about it from the Manila airport to Bangkok. The company is not yet very popular in the country, probably because it doesn't have any ads, and its website only contains photos of a few of its bag designs. The leather goods Vedasto offers, however, are of excellent quality--so excellent that each item comes with a lifetime warranty. Vedasto has branches at TriNoma, Market! Market! and Robinsons Manila.
