Post-holiday Hangover Remedy #4: Deliciously Healthy Salads

Start the year right by eating healthy even on the weekends. It's not about deprivation--it's about indulging in scrumptious food that will fill you up sans the extra calories.

Fiber-rich and flavorful salads like these definitely won't make you feel like you're on a diet.

Waldorf Salad
Bizu Patisserie and Bistro, Greenbelt 2
This salad is a medley of fresh fruits, walnuts, celery, lettuce and grilled chicken in honey yogurt dressing, which has a sweet and spicy zing. The personal serving size will leave you full and satisfied.

California Maki Salad
Sumo Sam, TriNoma
California maki ingredients sans the rice tossed in lettuce and Japanese mayo make for a tasty combination. One order is good for two, but it's so delish that I think I'd be able to finish it on my own.

Happy eating!
