Pitstop at HK Choi

My boyfriend and I were craving for Chinese food last Sunday so we headed to HK Choi by Choi Garden at the SM Megamall Atrium. This branch is more conveniently located than Choi Garden along Annapolis Street, Greenhills, but then you'll have to wait in line because it seems to be constantly packed. We arrived around 2:00 p.m. but there were still a lot of people waiting. Good thing the food was worth the wait!

I thought I could do without rice (diet mode!) but my date was right--the Soy Chicken, served with ginger, was better served with steaming hot rice as it was a little on the salty side. It was tender and flavorful, and complemented the noodles we ordered.

The Beef Brisket and Wanton Dry Noodle was nice and savory, with delectable wanton, soft beef and Chinese white cabbage.

Our meal was yummy and heavy, but still healthy. I won't be having dishes like these everyday if I want to lose weight, though!
