Line Dance

Vertical stripes may be the most popular for slimming and elongating your figure, but now, these irresistible horizontals take centerstage on tops, bottoms and flirty frocks in sexy silhouettes.

Here are a couple of the easiest outfits to throw on. Grab one of these striped dresses, a pair of shoes, a bag, minimal accessories, and you're all set.

Naughty or nice? The best thing about separates is that they're great for mixing and matching. Or mismatching, if that's what you prefer. Though I like to experiment with fashion, I'm more traditional when it comes to styling outfits most of the time. If you're feeling feisty, glam up a basic black and white striped tee (left) with a sparkly black skirt (like this one from a local fave, Glitterati!) Girly days call for a sweet striped mini and a red tee.

This looks pretty unusual, with the stripes looking like they've just been painted on the shirt. Pair it with shorts or jeans, or if you find a tunic-type tee long enough to cover your behind, finish it off with dark leggings.

I'm a self-confessed skirt lover, but most women I know are crazy about their jeans! Flowy, curve-hugging tops like these would go well with slim-fitting denims.

Have fun lining up some of these pieces in your closet!
