This tie-neck halter and herringbone high-waist pants ensemble would look great on tall, slender figures. Throw on a cropped white blazer to cover up and look more polished for business meetings.

Update a high-waist pencil skirt in dark gray, black or brown with a burgundy blouse with feminine details. The puff sleeves on this silk top give just the right amount of sweetness to the outfit.
Your basic white oxford shirts are great for both work and play, but it's always nice to mix things up with a printed button-down shirt. Find one with subdued hues to avoid going overboard. Look fresh by pairing it with white pants.
Here's another top that might already be in your closet in white but can also look divine in a funky colorful print. Wear a printed sleeveless top with ruffles down the front with slacks or a skirt that matches one of the dark colors of the top. You can also wear a cardigan that matches one of the light colors of the top if it gets a bit chilly in the office.
Experiment with other pieces, too. I've always loved black and white because they make you look polished in an instant and are so easy to mix and match. Still, it's nice to add color to your life. A brighter wardrobe can get you in a brighter mood! ;-)
