Save Room

Got a lot of stuff you can't leave the house without? Always lugging around a bulky, bursting, heavy bag?

That was me only a few weeks ago. Bag organizers will allow you to, well, keep your bag organized, but it won't make it lighter. I tried to figure out a way to lessen my load, and I did! Try to save room (and energy!) with these tips.

Moisturizer Pot

If you need to moisturize all throughout the day, you don't have to bring the whole moisturizer or lotion bottle. You can get small empty pot containers (usually used for lip balm) at Watsons and transfer just enough to last you a day or two.

Dance to the Bead!

I hardly get to feature accessories because I seldom find pieces I really like and would recommend. It's about time I discovered this online boutique that offers the prettiest beaded jewelry that would complement my wardrobe!

Beads by Crystelle has a wide variety of accessories -- most of which are one-of-a-kind! I especially love her necklaces. Most of the pieces I had my eyes on were already sold, so I suggest you check out the accessories and take your pick ASAP!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Crystelle's Crystals

I love the Swarovski crystal pendants. Too bad the guitar is already sold out! The anchor and the cross are really neat, too!

Beautiful F*ART

F*ART stands for Fashion Art, a hip new store in Quezon City where you can also find Beads by Crystelle creations, such as these:

A silver and black double chain necklace that oozes cool sophistication would perfectly finish off a date outfit.

Pastel never looked this good! These delicate, dainty necklaces will add just the right amount of sweetness to your outfits. They remind me of Disney princesses.

I absolutely love this necklace. I'd plan my outfit around it! See how it immediately dresses up that white tank? Lovely, just lovely.

October Collection

The cluster of silver, white and clear beads (left) would look so delicate with a white top -- even a plain white tee. It would look even more dramatic over black.

I love the punchy colors of the beads and the butterfly pendant (right). This would bring any plain outfit to life!

You don't want to miss your chance to grab these unique pieces. Check out Beads by Crystelle for more products and information.

Update: The anchor pendant is already sold out!

Put a Little Sparkle in Your Step

Another thing I won't have to slip into this month are my school shoes. I love how comfy my ballet flats are, but I'm more than happy to let my feet breathe and relax in my fave flipflops for a while.

That's why I got super excited when I got my Havaianas Philippines newsletter. Finally -- there's a new collection that'll definitely go well with my wardrobe. I wasn't very fond of the styles that came after the Slim, until these new designs came around! The Logo Metallic and Top Crystal are definitely going to be my new favorites.

Break Into Fashion

We are finally going to be able to take a breather from textbooks, quizzes, exams, heavy bags and uniforms. Sem break, here we come!

It's going to be a working break for me and some of my friends, classmates and co-officers, though. At least this time, we were the ones who actually signed up for sleepless nights. Heh.

It's not going to be all work, no play, though! October is going to be all about enjoying ourselves, and I'm not just talking about planning upcoming school events and preparing for competitions. It's time to par-tay!

I'm definitely up for a change in night-out wardrobe, which is why I'm trading in the usual jeans/shorts/mini-and-a-sexy-top combo for spunky mini dresses. Those will definitely get us in the (party) zone in no time! Gather your girlfriends and dance October nights away in gorgeous dresses such as these:

Bubbling Up

Bubble dresses are very easy to wear. Cinch your waist with a sparkly belt and don't forget to accessorize with just enough bling to avoid looking like you're going to a debut.

Dots Pretty Cool

This polka dot dress is perfect for day, but you can also wear it on a night out with, again, the right accessories. Wear your hair down, put on some hoops, step into a pair of metallic heels and add matching cuffs or bangles.

Pretty in Prints

Jamie Lynn Spears looks funky in a printed quarter-sleeved short number, while Miley Cyrus looks sweet in a striped tube dress.

Fits to a T

You can change the look of your tube dress by wearing a sleeveless or regular tee underneath!

Blazing Hot

Another option is throwing a blazer over your dress. Opt for one with stretch material that will highlight your curves and keep you from looking bulky.

Have a blast during the break, ladies! Hope these gave you ideas for your next party outfit. Oh, and if you're strapped for cash, you need not worry 'cause it's sale season!
